KEVIN BRENNAN

Kevin Brennan has been practicing law in the State of Vermont since 2003 – providing legal services focusing on Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions; Land Use and Planning; Zoning; Estate Planning Ranging from Simple Wills and Trusts to Sophisticated Estate Tax Planning and Wealth Transfer Planning; Probate; and Business Law Including Formation of New Businesses, Sales of Businesses, and Business Succession Planning.

Kevin graduated from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 1996 where he received a J.D., and from Dowling College in Oakdale, New York where he received a B.B.A in Accounting.  Following law school he worked for KPMG, LLP, an international accounting firm, in Boston, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, and Burlington, Vermont.  While at KPMG, LLP Kevin spent one year in the Financial Services Division focusing on corporate tax planning and compliance for financial institutions, and five years in the Personal Financial Planning Division focusing on estate and income tax planning and compliance for small businesses and high net worth individuals.

Kevin has served on the Monkton Development Review Board, Monkton Elementary School Board, and the Bristol Downtown Community Partnership

When he’s not practicing law, you can likely find Kevin hanging out with his family, sailing, hunting, running, hiking, and biking.

Ebenezer Punderson

Eben Punderson has practiced law in Middlebury since 1999, joining Kevin Brennan in 2014. Eben grew up in Vermont and lives in Weybridge where he and his wife Jill raised their two children. He received his JD from Northeastern University, and his BA from the University of Vermont. Eben's practice focuses on real estate, land use and zoning, business formation and transactions, estate planning, and selective civil litigation. He is active in the community, having served on the boards of the Middlebury Area Land Trust, Addison County Community Action Group (aka HOPE), Frost Montain Nordic, the Weybridge School Board and Moosalamoo Association. Depending on the season and snow cover, Eben spends his free time cycling, hiking, skiing, hunting and walking dogs.

JOAN DONAHUE

Joan  ("Joanie")  Donahue has been practicing law in the State of Vermont for over 20 years- providing legal services focusing on real estate transactions, probate and estate planning and estate administration.  Complementing her law clerk experience post-law school, Joanie has pursued legal research and writing opportunities within her practice.  She has appeared before the Vermont Supreme Court, and has written complex appellate briefs and motions for summary judgment. 

Joanie graduated from Vermont Law School in 1995, where she received a J.D. cum laude, and a Master of Studies in Law Degree (M.S.L.) magna cum laude, in environmental law.  Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Gregory J. Hobbs, of the Colorado Supreme Court in Denver, Colorado, where she grew up, prior to moving to Vermont.  

Joanie serves on the Board of Managers of The Wilson Foundation, coaches girls lacrosse, served on the Town of Cornwall Zoning Board of Adjustment for several terms, and has served on several other local non-profit boards over the course of the last decade. When she's not practicing law, you can likely find Joanie hanging out with her family, running, mountain biking, skiing or playing with her dog.
