JOAN DONAHUE

Joan  ("Joanie")  Donahue has been practicing law in the State of Vermont for over 20 years- providing legal services focusing on real estate transactions, probate and estate planning and estate administration.  Complementing her law clerk experience post-law school, Joanie has pursued legal research and writing opportunities within her practice.  She has appeared before the Vermont Supreme Court, and has written complex appellate briefs and motions for summary judgment.

Joanie graduated from Vermont Law School in 1995, where she received a J.D. cum laude, and a Master of Studies in Law Degree (M.S.L.) magna cum laude, in environmental law.  Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Gregory J. Hobbs, of the Colorado Supreme Court in Denver, Colorado, where she grew up, prior to moving to Vermont.

Joanie serves on the Board of Managers of The Wilson Foundation, coaches girls lacrosse, served on the Town of Cornwall Zoning Board of Adjustment for several terms, and has served on several other local non-profit boards over the course of the last decade. When she's not practicing law, you can likely find Joanie hanging out with her family, running, mountain biking, skiing or playing with her dog.
